INGREDIENTS BARBECUE SAUCE
- ½ chopped onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 15g of whole cane sugar
- 200g tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
- a mix of black and white pepper (½ tsp)
- a tablespoon Tabasco
- salt
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 2 teaspoons raspberry vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
BARBECUE SAUCE HOW TO USE IT
We assume that organizing a barbecue at home or outdoors, in the countryside or in the mountains is a time of great sharing, and the Americans know this very well. It is a real foundation for them.
Massaging the meats, or flavoring the fish before cooking it is a fundamental step for the success of the bbq, and last but not least, accompanying them with numerous variations of barbecue sauce makes everything even more enjoyable.
These sauces are intended to make the meats, or the numerous varieties of fish that can be cooked more pleasant, never forgetting that first of all they must be flavored with a mix of spices and salt (DRY RUB) in order to be enhanced to the fullest.
PREPARATION RECIPE: HOMEMADE BARBECUE SAUCE
In a pan, pour 150cl of extra virgin olive oil with the onion and chopped garlic, let it brown for a few minutes, then add the brown sugar, paprika and pepper.
Mix well and add the Tabasco, raspberry vinegar, mustard, honey, mix everything and add the tomato sauce and salt, cook until thick.
